Rapid-EPS has its roots in a family engineering business founded in Morley, West Yorkshire, in 1968. What began as a sheet metal fabrication factory grew steadily over the following decades into a sizeable manufacturing operation, producing temporary fencing and pedestrian barriers for the construction and events industries.
The move into edge protection came when the business was asked to develop a system for a UK client. That project proved successful and revealed a much larger opportunity. The ambition to serve a global market led directly to the founding of Rapid-EPS and the invention of the Rapid Post, now a market leading product used worldwide.
Today, Rapid-EPS is an award winning British engineering company based in Leeds, serving customers across the construction, rail, civil, and industrial sectors throughout the UK and internationally. Over 40 years of engineering heritage, combined with a state of the art facility and a dedicated team, underpin everything the business does.
